Missing 3 year-old child seen with her mother and her mother’s sex offender boyfriend in bed

What is happening, friends? This is my second article on a mother exposing her child to a convicted sex offender. In my previous article on “Nevaeh Buchanan missing case” the carelessness of a mother resulted into little Nevaeh’s death. This is a slightly different case. 24 year-old Candace Watson helped her tier III sex offender boyfriend to escape from a house in Mansfiled, Ohio. The sex offender’s name is Robbi Potter. 27 year-old Robbi is convicted of sex offenses in 2002 and 2005. Ms. Watson disappeared with Robbi Potter and her three year old daughter Haylee Donathan in a black and green-teal two-tone Chevrolet Truck with Ohio plate ENS9729. Haylee’s grandmother is looking for her daughter and granddaughter.

Recently police found out the roommate with whom Watson was sheltering in Arizona. In an interview with CNN, Watson’s school friend and roommate Samantha Covert told that they were sharing the apartment for 4 months and she had seen Robbi just once. She saw Watson, Robbi and Haylee sleeping in the same bed when she entered her room.  Samantha was not aware that Candace was having a relationship with a sex offender. Their conversations revolved around plans of going to school together and other friendly chit-chat. For about a month, Candance was trying to avoid her after she met Robbi.

Mary Watson, Haylee’s grandmother tried to cover up her daughter by saying that there is a possibility that Candace is not aware of Robbi being a sex offender. She cannot comment on it unless she meets her daughter to gather the facts.

A sex offender sentenced with just one year of imprisonment in Oklahoma

The Oklahoma judge’s decision for just a year’s imprisonment to a sex offender has created a big  commotion in the criminal justice system. People are unhappy to hear that a rapist has been penalized only  with one year in jail.

David Earls, a 64 year-old man from Oklahoma is charged with raping a 4 year-old girl. The lawmakers are  so displeased with this penalty that they are protesting for the judge’s removal from the bench. The  legislators argue that a sex offender should not have been given a reduced sentence and set free in  September.

But there are other facts about this case that should be considered before blaming the judge. Two attorneys, who were interviewed by CNN said that the rape case was very weak and this sentence was appealed by the prosecutors. If the prosecutors wouldn’t have agreed on appealing a reduced sentence they would have anyway lost the case and an opportunity to brand David Earls a recorded sex offender. The case was very weak due to lack of evidence .

West Palm Beach personal injury lawyer said “It’s being said that the judge and the prosecutors carefully examined the case but couldn’t find evidences that would prove David Earls guilty. To serve the best interest of the state they found the reduced sentence a better outcome.”  Dangerous product lawyers said “David Earls is now a registered sex offender. Moreover, it’s not clear if David Earls accepted the rape accusation or only to having illegitimate contact with the girl.”

Jennifer Buchanan being criticized for exposing her 5 year-old missing daughter to two sex offenders

Media is accusing Jennifer Buchanan of being an irresponsible mother of a 5 year-old girl Nevaeh Buchanan, who is now missing. She was last seen outside her house riding her bicycle at 6:30 pm on May 24th at 1166 N. Macomb Street in Monroe, Chicago. She was wearing a red, white and blue shirt and knee-length jeans.

Jennifer Buchanan was friendly with two men who were convicted of sex offenses. 39 year-old George Kennedy was sentenced to 15 years in prison for home invasion and third-degree criminal sexual conduct in 2002. He was released in 2007 and was on Parole until July 2009. He has been put in custody again, as he has violated his parole by having a relationship with a woman whose daughter was less than 17 years old. The second person is Roy Smith who was also in jail for sexual offense. People are finding it very irresponsible of Jennifer Buchanan to expose her daughter to two sex offenders, who are being suspected as persons of interest in Nevaeh’s disappearance.

Guy Bickley and his son found a dead body buried under cement 7 miles from Jennifer Buchanan’s house. The body was badly decomposed. It is being assumed that it is little Nevaeh’s body. Family members are not being allowed to see the dead body for identification as it is in a very bad shape. In an interview Jennifer Buchanan was insistent on personally identifying the dead body and sconfirm if it is of Nevaeh. The confirmation about the dead body’s identification will come after two weeks from the forensic reports that is under progress. Before receiving the confirmation the reason of death cannot be deciphered.

That can be one of the reasons for her bad judgment.
