A spokesperson for K2 Productions, which operates the Miss California, confirmed to The Times that Prejean has been stripped of her crown because of “contract violations.” Fox News reported that pageant officials contended that she failed to participate in pageant-related events.

People were shocked to hear that the king of pop, Michael Jackson died yesterday (June 25th ’09). An autoposy has been scheduled for Friday and results are expected by afternoon.  The 50 year-old pop music icon was preparing for a comeback tour starting July 13 at London’s famed 02 arena.

“It is believed he suffered cardiac arrest in his home. However, the cause of his death is unknown until results of the autopsy are known,” his brother Jermaine said.
